T Levels are a relatively new type of qualification in the UK designed for high school students, equivalent to three A Levels. Introduced in 2020, these qualifications focus on vocational education and aim to prepare students for skilled employment, apprenticeships, or further study. Each T Level course lasts two years and combines classroom learning with an industry placement of at least 45 days. They cover various sectors, including digital, construction, education, and healthcare, providing practical skills and experience that align closely with industry needs. T Levels offer a rigorous alternative to traditional academic routes, bridging the gap between education and the workplace.
At Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form, Norwich we are the only school in the Eastern region offering Digital and Education T Levels, and are working in partnership with local industries in Norwich and the surrounding area. A T Level is equivalent to three A Levels and will hold UCAS points allowing you to continue studies at degree level if you wish:
