Year Groups

Year 10

Throughout my time as Head of Year, I have been developing resources that address a variety of aspects of a child's personal growth that extend beyond the academic; these include sessions on their personal development, study skills, cultural awareness, leadership and literacy. I have worked with such amazing youngsters during my time at Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form and believe, wholeheartedly, that a child has such excellent chances of success here given the extent of professionalism and strength of both our Pastoral team and Teaching staff.

My name is Mr Coleman and I have the great privilege of being the Head of Year 10. My passion and interest in working pastorally started just one year after I joined the school (11 years ago) After working as an assistant Head of House for many years, I was given the opportunity to become the Head of Year.

Head of House became Head of Year and that brings us to the last few years.
I truly believe that we owe it to our students to provide them with a well thought out and balanced Pastoral Curriculum.
