Child Development

Curriculum Intent Statement:

The Child Care curriculum aims to extend student’s knowledge of the care and developmental needs of children aged 0-18 years. This includes the needs of parents and the role of professionals in supporting them. By understanding the needs of others and different experiences students should develop in empathy and understanding. Students will extend their research skills and their ability to reference and select information.
